When competing at the same Challenge star level, Travelers with shorter total clear time will achieve higher ranks in the Universe Expedition. This guide, designed for Travelers aiming for the top spots, shares high-performing
speedrunning compositions for various stages and provides detailed
setup recommendations.
AoE Speedrun Compositions
Team Composition: Philto + Journ + Sagomir + Gladys + Lorentheel
Overview: Activating the
Steady Advance Talent with a Rally team significantly speeds up ultimate skill usage. When paired with Philto, a hero known for his powerful ultimate skill burst, some stages can be cleared in around 6 seconds.
Recommended Stages: Universe Expedition-1, 4, 6, and 8, as well as other stages with multiple Common enemies.
●
Team Aura/FamiliarUse
Lorentheel's
Crit Damage Aura to boost the team's damage output. For your Familiar, the
Tressym is the standard choice for increasing AOE Damage. For speedrunning, you can also use the
Mimic. Its short initial spell recharge time allows it to quickly inflict a Recharging Speed Penalty on enemies, improving your team's survivability.
●
Recommended Skill TimingManually time Philto's ultimate skill, casting it immediately after Lorentheel uses his. The other heroes can be left on auto-cast.
●
Important Notes1. As Sagomir charges the enemy with the highest Attack after using his battle skill, it's best to position other heroes to take damage so that Sagomir doesn't pull enemies out of the AoE of Philto's ultimate skill.
2. Deploy Philto first to get the Ultimate Energy bonus from Sagomir's passive skill. For the other heroes, focus on stacking as much Skill Haste as possible.
3. For stages where enemies are spread out (like Universe Expedition-9), or if your Philto isn't strong enough to one-shot all enemies, substitute
Sagomir with
Huberg or
Thelendor. Use them as a secondary damage dealer to eliminate targets outside the AoE of Philto's ultimate skill.

●Recommended Loadout●Recommended TalentsSingle-Target Speedrun Composition
Team Composition: Philto + Journ + Sagomir + Gladys + Lorentheel
Overview: This Wild team composition has extremely strong single-target burst damage. Combined with Journ's passive skill that restores Ultimate Energy to nearby allies, the team can rapidly cast ultimate skills to defeat enemies.
Recommended Stages: Universe Expedition-3, 7, 10, and 16, as well as other stages with Dungeon Bosses.
●
Team Aura/FamiliarWe recommend using
Flora's
Attack Aura to increase the team's damage output. For your Familiar, the
Mimic is recommended to delay enemy skills and relieve survival pressure on your team.
●
Recommended Skill TimingUltimate skills for a Wild composition can be left on auto-cast. For increased burst damage, consider manually casting Flora's ultimate skill before the ultimates of your other Damage Dealers.
●
Important Notes1. As speedrunning compositions do not use support heroes that provide Healing or Shields, you may struggle to survive against consecutive Bosses. If so, consider taking on the challenge with a team featuring several support heroes paired with a duo like
Beldelle and
Shinnah, who can provide sufficient damage output on their own. See the reference composition and loadout below:
